Team Infinite celebrating together at a race

Sound familiar?

You've had the good spells. The weeks where everything clicks. Training's going well, food's on point and you think…this is finally it.

Then work gets mental. The kids are ill. A holiday comes up. One bad week turns into two…and you're back to square one wondering what the hell went wrong.

Or maybe you're already training. Turning up, working hard…and going nowhere. Same weight. Same times. No real plan.

It's not a motivation problem. You've just never had a plan built for your life, someone holding you to it, and a goal that actually gets you out of bed.

Nobody starts out saying "wouldn't mind losing 20kg and doing an ultra"

But it keeps happening. It starts with one small goal. Then the next one. Then the next.

  1. Ultra
  2. Marathon
  3. Hyrox
  4. Half
  5. 10k
  6. 5k
  7. First 5kg

    Start here
This is where most people start. Wanting to lose a bit of body fat and feel better.

You don't need to know where you'll end up…you just need to focus on the first goal in front of you.

Not just lighter. Completely different people.

Getting lean happens along the way. What changes most is who they become.

"I'm not fit enough to join."

I hear it all the time. And I get it.

But most of the people on this page couldn't run a 5k when they started. Some couldn't run for 2 minutes.

You don't need to be fit to join the team. That's what the team's for.

Stephen running a coastal trail race

Hi, I'm Stephen.

Before the kids came along I was training 6 times a week with a strict diet and routine to match.

Then I became a dad…and all of that went out the window.

Less time. More stress. Starting again every other Monday. I'd lost my spark a bit.

What got me back wasn't a diet. It was signing up for an Ironman 70.3.

All of a sudden I had a reason to train. Early sessions before the kids were up. Late ones once they were in bed.

9 months later I'd dropped 2 stone and was the fittest I'd ever been. And I never once felt like I was on a diet. Getting lean just happened because I was training for something.

That's exactly what we do at Infinite.

A goal worth chasing. A plan that fits your life. And a team to do it with.

I've since done ultras and Hyrox and I'm still chasing that sub 18 5k.

But the best bit of this job? Watching someone who swore they weren't a runner cross their first finish line.

Is this for you?

It is if…

  • You're training but not seeing the progress you'd like.
  • You're sick of always having to start again every Monday.
  • You want a goal that gets you out of bed, even if you've no idea what it is yet.
  • You want to get leaner and fitter at the same time.

It's not if…

  • You want a quick fix or a crash diet.
  • You're not open to being coached and taking on board advice.
  • You don't actually want to train.
  • You're not open to changing how you do things.

Questions people ask

Do I need to live near Turriff?

No. Your coaching is fully online, so it works wherever you are. If you're local, come along to the team session and runs when you can. If you're not, you've still got the WhatsApp group, the challenges and the race days.

I've never done an event. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most people hadn't when they joined. We'll find the right first goal for you. That might be dropping your first 5kg, running your first 5k or something you haven't even thought of yet.

I'm busy with work and kids. Will I have time?

So is everyone on this page. Your plan is built around the week you've actually got, not the one you wish you had.

I just want to lose weight. Is this still for me?

Yes. Fat loss is a big part of what we do. We just give you something to train for as well, because that's what makes it stick. Most people find the weight comes off easier once they stop obsessing over the scales.
